Special Class with Alicia Grayson
October 5
6:30-7:30 pm EDT
In this pilates
class we will focus on the use of imagery and kinesthetic pathways to deepen our
connection to the interior of our body, to earth and to space. The imagery and
kinesthetic awareness will support optimal alignment, integration and ease for a
vitalizing practice. Class will be through Zoom because Alicia Grayson will be
teaching from Colorado.
Alicia Grayson has been passionately involved with movement for the past 31
years. She has taught contact improvisation as an adjunct faculty at George
Washington University, University of Denver, Naropa University and Shenandoah
University. She teaches CI, yoga and pilates classes in Boulder, CO and
regularly travels nationally and internationally to teach. Her long time
practices of authentic movement, yoga and pilates and her love of nature are
important influences on her dancing and teaching. She holds teacher
certifications in Stott Pilates mat, Kripalu Yoga, Ashaya Yoga, Phoenix Rising
Yoga Therapy and Shake Your Soul Yoga Dance. She is a certified Hakomi
therapist, certified perinatal somatic attachment therapist and certified
Feminine Power transformational coach and facilitator. She delights in exploring
and discovering new depths to various movement forms and is particularly
interested in the intersection of physics and expression and the mind/body
relationship. She is dedicated to supporting her fellow humans to be the most
amazing embodied beings that we are! www.aliciagrayson.com

We are beginning to open the studio to Private clients while still holding Zoom and outdoor classes. We love helping you to keep moving.
At the studio we are keeping the air circulating, cleaning off everything to kill germs and asking everyone to bring in their own props. We are having only one person in the studio at a time or if you are in the same household you can have two.
Zoom is still all the RAGE and classes are available. Pop in from anywhere in the world!
